We're leaving on an aeroplane...

Up up and away.... we are off to Brazil. Not for the World Cup, but on a scientific discovery of the rainforest. We had a 9.20am departure time on Wednesday morning, so it was important we set off for the airport early to give ourselves enough time. Once there a lady checked our tickets and Sandra the air hostess allowed us to board the plane.

The journey was very exciting and we saw all sorts or sights out of the window, including Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower. When we were flying over Brazil, we could see football players in a stadium.

We were not too impressed with the service the airline company provided. The toilet was blocked, there were no refreshments available and we think the pilot was a beginner, as it was very bumpy. We wrote about our 8 hour flight when we arrived.

Once we had made it to Brazil, it was time to visit the rainforest. Before we stepped foot in the jungle we had to think carefully about our behaviour. It was important to keep quiet so that we wouldn't scare the animals. We also needed to make sure we left everything as we found it, so that we didn't disturb their natural habitat.

When we returned we recorded everything we saw. We made quite a list.
